The Pending Arrival of Spring- A Real Estate Blog for Spring (March) 2009 from Johnny Hodge RE/MAX AFFILIATES
As we anxiously await the arrival of March, and the official beginning of the hottest home buying and selling time of the year, I reflect on all the ever-important adaptations Realtors around America have made to remain successful in a challenging "contracted" economy. Real estate agents and Brokers (the very wise ones at least) have been refocusing their marketing dollars, expanding avenues for consumers to come into contact with their properties, and updating themselves on all of the latest technological updates that can greatly enhance ones business. This "reshaping" of our collective business has allowed for consumers to access even greater amounts of research from the most reliable resource. We aim to remain the "voice of real estate" for our local, state, and national markets.
I am completing listing paperwork for a historical home dating back to 1864 that was completely renovated in 2005. As I looked out the upstairs window I could see Tulips starting to blossom across the way. The remarkable Wiedemann Carriage House has been redefined as a state of the art deluxe residential property. I am excited to be offering this amazing slice of Newport history, and be on the lookout for a few upcoming events to reintroduce this landmark to the community.
The first 2 full months as President of the Northern Kentucky Association of Realtors has been lively, with a successful trip for agents to Frankfort to work on a occupational licensing bill, a freeze on dues increases, expanded education/business opportunities with Home from Work and Green Designation, a planned trip to Washington D.C. coming up, a Calendar we submitted 2 young (4th and 5th graders) art work that will be highlighted in the 2010 Homes For Everyone Calendar, and much more. I love to be at positive meetings where people gather ideas, and each others’ energy in ways to be more effective in the business world.
My listing inventory is filled with nice, well-priced homes of all shapes and sizes and can always be viewed at www.johnnyhodge.com I Have been meeting with a great deal of buyers lately who are just starting to map-out their road to a new home. Sellers are busy getting their homes ready for the exciting Spring Market and as I write this I am off to a successful closing for a nice property we just sold in Erlanger.
Our team is expanding with new team members about to be announced who will be full-time licensed Realtors working to help showcase and sell our listings, and help us to respond to all calls and emails as quickly as possible. While others have retracted their efforts, we have pushed forward with a new revised marketing platform, a vigorous campaign to work with buyers of all price dynamics, and a continued effort to offer a sizeable variety of the nicest property offerings in Northern Kentucky. Your referrals are truly the lifeline of our business, and we are very blessed to have the ability to work for your friends, family, and acquaintances.
Yes, Spring is here. Soon we will all open our windows, and smell the familiar scents of life restoring. Our economy in Northern Kentucky has remained fairly robust, and we have a great deal to be thankful for. Let us be here for you to best guide your property, or property search, to the very best possible destination. The Johnny Hodge Family Team looks forward to seeing you soon. All the best,
Johnny A. Hodge March 1st, 2009
